Judge Longino earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Richmond. Before attending law school he worked as a licensed broker for Merrill Lynch. This experience equips him with deep insight into property matters.
His legal career has been exclusively dedicated to the practice of family law. In law school he spent multiple semesters in the school's family law clinic and clerked for the Hon. Robert Hinojosa in the 312th District Court, a family court in Harris County. During that clerkship he observed court proceedings daily and discussed and assisted on various proceedings in the judge’s chambers.
He was Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2017.
Judge Longino was elected to the 245th District Court in 2018 and took the bench January of 2019. He considers it an honor to serve the residents of Harris County.
Judge Longino is married with two children, two dogs, and two guinea pigs (not recommended - they poop a lot). He is a little obsessed with his corgi, and corgis generally.
